Increase of Learning: Prov 1:5
| Quote: | | Pro 1:5 A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: |
This morning as I was meditating on this scripture my heart was edified as I considered all that God has provided in Christ for our increase of learning and the attainment of wise counsels. The first thing I did when I awoke was to spend some time using the manifold grace of ‘dreams’ where I rehearsed the dream symbols I recalled and observed what communication God was giving me to reflect His authorship of my faith and my salvation.
The next thing I did was go to the Student Fellowship board to read some prophecies and review other teachings and stewardships. The next I opened an email from a sister in the Lord and mediated on the manifold graces she had shared. Then I went to the Apostles’ School and read feedback on lessons, prayed in tongues and offered prophecies and petitions. I further reflected on the words of knowledge I had been granted over the last few days, the gifts of discerning of spirits and the tutorship that had accompanied them.
All of these activities of worshipping God in Spirit and truth are the activities of a wise man who hears. He hears the voice of God’s grace and responds, not delaying to another time, but being of a ready mind to labor with what the Spirit provides and keeping good daily habits of faith. These priests are as the 5 wise virgins, keeping their wick trimmed and vessel full of oil, and such shall attain to wise counsels, that is they shall have
the direction of the Spirit,
the knowledge of God and
the mind of Christ.
They shall not be lacking in any good thing, for the abundant life of Christ continually refreshes their soul with living waters, bringing newness of hope, fruit and perception.
As we approach the end of days I encourage all the saints to stay strong in your priesthood: increase your prayer time, prophecies and stay fluid with the Spirit in rehearsing the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Be zealous for the stewardship of grace, the exchange of charity and contact with government. Through all these things you will increase in your growth cycles and you will not be found ashamed, rather you will be found as a fruitful man, a faithful man, a garden that is abounding with the aroma of Christ’s life.
Remember a wise man not only hears, but heeds. The days are short, so do all that you have to do to put Christ first, for this life is temporary and perishing, but the inward man and the fruit is eternal.
“Blessed is the soul that is mindful of the New Covenant priesthood, heeding the commandments and doctrine of His apostles, for his soul shall be a bounty of heavenly riches which glorify God and exalt Jesus Christ.”
In Christ,
