May 2006
Dear brethren,
I wanted to share for the comfort of others an experience I had with the ministration of God’s holy angels bringing His grace to comfort my soul during tribulation.
I had experienced a very oppressive conversation with a family member where I was oppressed with their words and false memories.
Within a minute of this scenario dissolving I saw a beautiful large rectangular blue ministering spirit, about 3 inches by 2 inches. It flashed so brilliantly it made me jump. I started praying in tongues and the words “My mercy is with you” came to me. I continued to reflect on Christ, praying and offering sacrifices during my work. Later as I looked back at the end of the day I had the following reflections as I observed God’s judgments of mercy:
| Quote: | I observed how his peace comforted my soul right after these unnerving exchanges took place
I observed how my conviction was Christ, in contrast to the conviction of sin Satan brings
I observed how his power assisted my will to choose faith and the expression of Christ through the tools
I observed how He issued grace for calling as I continued on in accomplishing the tasks I had at hand
I observed how I was not brought to any point of frustration, despair or despondency over the incident, rather my mind remained in equity and I was able to focus on working with the inspiration of the grace of God for ministry work
I observed that God did not judge my frailty, but judged my faith and issued grace for my function and sustainment
I observed that God’s approval was not tethered to my family members, rather his approval was in Christ and my conformity to Christ through faith
I observed how Satan “had nothing in me” as I kept my faith restricted to the covenant; the event did not interfere with my ability to function in government nor my priesthood; I was not robbed of my fellowship with God nor my stewardship of grace. |
I thank God for His intervention and care over my soul and how by His mercy I was able to keep cadence with Him during tribulation and partake of the comfort of the Holy Ghost through the power of Jesus Christ.
I thank God for these “good gifts” from above that keep our faith single, pure and perfect wherein we may be productive as fruitbearers.
“He that knows God by the record of Christ receives the Witness of Christ, for God is pleased in our suffering through grace, that as we are partakers of Christ’s suffering so we shall be partakers of His glory.”
In Him,
