We are coming into a new year and we are still seeing the error in the Church abound. The pastors have aligned themselves with political parties and have placed their stance more firmly with the One World Government and the Anti-Christ.

They are boldly speaking in error and becoming more violent in their teachings. They are being more aggressive with promoting false doctrine in order to fulfill their personal agendas. They use formulas that are absent of God’s truth to give their congregations a formula to get, better jobs, better pay, better relationships, more money, etc. In order to continue to keep the congregational interest, these false teachers come up with another concept taken from their prior doctrines and they call it a ‘new revelation from God’.

I know some of these ministers have a heart to know God and they are seeking his knowledge, not knowing where to turn, but to prayer. Many believe that God will show them the knowledge of His truth. However, what many have received is another version of the same doctrines being taught in the false Church.

This is why God has been allowing time for the false teachers to turn away from their teachings, and to acknowledge His truth being taught by true living Apostles. Apostles possess the holy knowledge of the framework of Christ for the true Church. By this knowledge, man will have the ability to worship God in Spirit and in truth. They will no longer be worshiping in vain and using the contact points of the flesh. They will learn how to build the spiritual altar of Christ in their inner man, so that they may have the spiritual tools to properly worship God. What does it mean to worship in vain? What does it mean to take the name of God or the name of Christ in vain?

Let us take a look at the Old Testament commandments to see what God was teaching the children of Israel.

In Exodus, Chapter 20 we read,
1And God spake all these words, saying, 2I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

In these verses 1-3, we know that God spoke to them. In other words, these words came directly from God. He laid down the framework for them to follow. God also used Moses and Aaron to convey these words to the children of Israel. They were continually bringing these words into remembrance for them to follow. We know that the Lord delivered them from bondage.

Yet, it was not just the bondage of slavery, but bondage to the religious practices of the Egyptians and the surrounding area. They were in bondage to false religions. They needed the leadership of Moses and the priests that he designated for them, so they would know how to worship God in the Covenant that He established through Moses. We see that they were not to bow a knee to any other god(s). They were to worship God in the framework that He authorized and gave to Moses.

4Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

In those days, statues and engravings of images were used for worship. Man worshiped the creation, rather than God. They would seek to place their trust in the things of the world that would bring them pleasure.

Wealth in those days was not always measured by gold or silver. Instead, they fashioned idols of cattle in gold and silver, because these things symbolized what were status symbols of wealth. A man with 20 cows was wealthier than a man with 10 cows.

Many idols of the Egyptians were representations of half human and half beast. This is an example of the various deities in which they would place their trust. The Samarians and the Egyptians were also involved in idol worship. The worship of these idols was the worship of demons. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “behind every idol is a demon.”

5Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

We can see that God warned the children of Israel about the wrath that He would pour out on those who chose not to follow Him. God does not tolerate idolatry, no matter in what form man uses. God bestows mercy to those who love him and keep his commandments. Today it is the Covenant of Christ and the commandments thereof.

7Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

This is the heart of the lesson. “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain.” Does that mean I should not use God’s name in a curse or cussing? NO! To take the name of God in vain, is to use another doctrine, or teaching that God has not authorized and place His name on it desiring Him to accept it.

This is blasphemy! It is faith in a doctrine, or activity that is outside of the truth of God. It is when any man teaches doctrine or activity, which is outside of the covenant of Christ. When believers follow such teachings, they are blaspheming Christ and taking the name of Christ in vain. They do this because they are’ the blind being led by the blind’ and these doctrines appeal to their fleshly desires.

They do this because they are not being taught by true living Apostles. Some, who have had contact with true living Apostles, have turned away from truth because they choose to be willfully ignorant. Instead, they choose to turn their heads away from the words of truth. They continue to live happily by their vain imaginations. They are spiritually blind, naked, and destitute. Because of their choice, they shall be judged by the coming wrath of God.

What will it take to bring people to the true covenant of Christ? I believe the hardships that we are about to endure are a judgment on the spiritual house of Israel. God is about to pour out his wrath on those who would not listen to the voice of His Apostles and Prophets. What did the Apostles say concerning these things?

We know that the false Church today uses the scripture where Peter heals the lame man by saying, “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk”. However, Peter is bringing distinction to what authority he does this AND to the fact that he is in the framework of Christ and that he is obedient to that framework.

Peter was an Apostle of Christ who had the framework for the Church to follow. When we are in the framework of Christ, we are doing everything in obedience to that framework in the name of Christ, and everything we do in that framework brings life to our soul.

However, the false Church does otherwise, because they are outside of government of God. They function outside of the framework of truth, and they are not working with the Spirit of Christ. Therefore, they use the name of Christ in vain.

2 Timothy 4:3
3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

This is true today. A heap is no small measure. A heap means to be running over. It means that today there are thousands upon thousands of false teachers teaching truisms and false doctrines that are void of the truth of God and the people love it. They love the teachings that mutilate their soul unto death.

Titus 1:10-11
10For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 11Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.

The Apostle is warning the saints of those who teach doctrines that are in vain because they do not bring life to the soul. They are bringing in the old Law of Moses which is no longer valid, and are mixing it with the New Testament covenant.

We see this occurring in the false Church today, as they teach tithing or the giving of seed offerings, etc. As explained in this scripture, they are teaching false doctrines and demanding money for doing so. Just as the people believed it then, so are the congregations deceived by it today.
In all these things, these false teachers took the name of God in vain, just as the false teachers, TV evangelists and teachers are doing today. There is nothing new under the sun.

There is a controversial issue occurring right now. Rick Warren, (a famous false teacher with a large congregation, who surely makes large amounts of money known as ’filthy lucre’), is going to give the inaugural invocation.

The controversy is on whether or not he will end the prayer in the name of Jesus. This pastor who is aligning himself with political institutions and teaching the Anti-Christ Doctrine is in a position of controversy by using the name of Christ in vain. This man teaches doctrine that is outside of the framework of Christ.

Why should anyone of the world system be offended? He is just the same as the rest of the world, by seeking after whatever pleases the flesh and using the name of Christ to justify his teachings. He takes scriptures out of context. He believes that we all can ‘agree to disagree’ concerning the doctrine of truth, as long as scriptures can used to create doctrines of devils. This continues to leave their parishioners like the Laodiceans (spiritually poor, naked, and destitute).

We are now in the last days with the False Church leaders waxing colder to the grace of God, as they reject truth, and murder the souls of their congregations. Some actually are sincere in their blasphemy, believing they are truly following God.

What is the remedy for opening the eyes of those who are being led down a path of destruction? The Apostles will continue to be diligent with the grace and truth of God. The Prophets will continue to speak concerning judgments.

The grace of God will come in great power and many shall hear the word of the Lord and repent. Will it take a judgment on this nation and the world? YES! It is taking place NOW!
